Had an amazing weekend at the Arctic Club Hotel down in Pioneer Square. Meredith and Matt spent their wonderful day and night with family and friends from all across the nation. It was more of a reunion than just a wedding day for everyone. We brought in the photo booth to let the guests let loose and have a little extra fun between meals. Everyone had so much fun, I’m pretty sure we’re down a couple boas and prop, but all in the name of fun, right?! Let’s do it again!

Say CHEESE!

As I start to offload all my images into my setup for Felise and Ben’s beautiful wedding, I started checking out some of the videos that was taken that night on their Argosy Cruise reception. The video below was of the last couple photos taken in the omg-i-love-taking-fun-photos-of-people-dressed-up-screaming photo booth (trademark pending). It took the ENTIRE night before we could get the lovely bride and groom into their own booth where all the guests were cheering them on as they hammed it up in front of the camera. And of course, that cheer quickly turned into a yell-at-the-top-of-your-lungs group shot to conclude the night. Special thanks to my team (Billy and John) again for making the night mind blasting!

Photo booths + Wedding = Absolute WIN!

Last night was Michelle and Andrew’s big day! Congratulations to the new couple! We set up the photo booth at the wonderful Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Seattle. The second we set up, I swear that we had a 20 person line already formed. It was as if no one cared to eat, and just wanted to take photos (which I’m completely down to support)! The best part about it was seeing some familiar faces. Helping out at this wedding was made possible because of the booth we ran at Amy and Jason’s wedding in July. Friends, aunties and cousins were there to bring back the awesome from last time. I hope I run into you guys again, so you know, let others know about the photo booth ;P

Again, a special thanks to Amy and Jason for letting me run the photo booth at their wedding and introducing me to such a great group of people. The energy and excitement makes my job so easy. Of course a HUGE THANK YOU to Michelle and Andrew for the opportunity to be a part of their beautiful beginnings.

Whew! We did it!
I’m writing this right now with a big smile on my face. After returning from the brand spanking new Grand Ballroom in the Bellevue Hyatt, I am eagerly preparing to get the photos up online for everyone to see. Amy and Jason’s wedding was marvelous on so many levels. From the beginning when I first talked to them about being a part of the evening’s activities to the last dance of the night, it felt like an amazing experience.

I’ll be writing a full post on the entire set up as well as provide some of the things that I learned along the way (the hard way). I believe you will be able to run your own photo booth with kick butt printing and live previews for scrap booking.

This is the love story montage that was presented during the reception along with the SDE by Ambient Sky Studios. There were a lot of laughs and smiles during the viewing so I’m happy to share this on behalf Billy. Check it out!

Big Thanks!
One last bit, I wanted to give a big shout to John Taing for being the rock star assistant and all around awesome friend. Big shout to Billy Shih for producing and editing a stellar Love Story video (I’ll post it here too) who was also kind enough to bring additional supplies that I neglected to remember to the stage. Finally, Yaddi Ty, for helping me make one of the hottest props used in the booth, our homemade picture frame with velcro signs! Here’s a photo of the boys:
